ADULT YOGA

Learn the fundamental poses and practices of the ancient science and philosophy of yoga. Practice the physical poses or postures of Hatha Yoga combined with breathing and relaxation techniques in a non-competitive environment that allows you to exercise safely and within your own capacity. Experience the many health-promoting benefits of yoga: improve posture, strength and flexibility; relax, reduce stress and increase vitality.

Hatha Yoga is suitable for men and women of all ages. New and experienced students are welcome.

Classes are held at the Riverbend Community Centre, 258 Rhatigan Road East. To register, please call 780-437-7108.

Class sizes are limited, so register early.

Bev Moore is a long time practitioner and student of yoga. Bev holds certifications through the Gerda Krebs School of Yoga, the Yoga Association of Alberta, Yin Yoga, Radiant Child Yoga, and Yoga for Pregnancy. Currently much of her study is in the Desikachar lineage. Her classes are open to all levels, with a strong focus on breath work.
