The Green Shack program is a free drop-in program catered to children ages 6 to 12; however, all are welcome.

Spring has sprung and Riverbend and area is reawakening! I love seeing everyone emerge as the weather warms up, whether it’s dog walking, bike riding or kids playing, our neighbourhoods really come alive.
Spring has finally arrived in Edmonton. The snow is gone, the sun is out and everyone’s itching to clean up the yard, dig the garden and finally tackle that messy garage. Myself included — the people at the waste disposal center almost know me by name now.
I recently had the pleasure of meeting with Sheryl Bowhay, a long-time resident of Riverbend and dedicated volunteer for the Riverbend Community League. For those who may know Sheryl, you may be surprised by the number of ways she has contributed to our community over the years and for those who don’t know Sheryl, I’m very pleased to introduce you to her!
